Talkies Begins
First things first, my name is Jack. Glad that's out of the way. This blog will document my journey as a student of Film and TV production and this post will serve as an introduction.
1) I am most looking forward to writing the scripts of films and seeing them envisioned. Writing is a keen passion of mine, to be able to put a story of my creation into action will be amazing.
2) I hope to learn many interesting techniques in cinematography and everything I need to know to become a great director. I would also like to pick up some more storytelling techniques to help flesh out characters and make my work more engaging.
3) I am hoping to achieve a distinction.
4) The last film I watched was Trainspotting.
5) I think Trainspotting found an audience amongst many different tribes: the disaffected youth, the fallout of the punk scene of the 80's, those who have experienced or know somebody experiencing addiction and many more.
6) In the last 24 hours the devices I've used to access media include my phone, my TV, my PlayStation, my car stereo, my Dad's Hi-Fi, my Dad's soundbar and the college PC that I'm using to write this blog entry.
7) The device I use most to access media is probably my phone, I imagine it is the same for most other people. It's convenient and always with me which means I have much more opportunity to access it than any other device.
